Wire Wrapping Technique

The Wire Wrapping Technique is one of my favorite techniques. Many of my designs are wire wrapped. It is the art of wrapping beads with jewelry wire and linking them onto other beads or onto to components. This bracelet is a link bracelet. I wire wrapped each bead and connected them to each other. I used an antique gunmetal flexible metal jewelry wire with a 24mm guage to wrap this bracelet. The beads I used in this design are vintage lucite beads from the 1960's and many of my designs are created with these type of beads. Catz-Kato Designs is a Christian Faith based Company. Our dependency is on God and on His wonderful Son, Jesus Christ. God heard my prayers when I decided to stay home to care for our children, and I had the desire to work at home as well. I nocked on His door and asked for a career and He used my design abilities to design and create handcrafted jewelry. From what started as a hobby, has now grown into a business. Good Friday to me is a day to reflect on the undying love that Jesus has for me. On a day like today, He died on a cross in Calvary; He gave me saving Grace and washed away my sins, therefore I rejoice today!
